He is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He obtained his M.Ed (Islamic Studies) from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Nigeria, in 2015. He has been teaching at Kaduna Polytechnic for the past twenty years. He is a Hausa native speaker. He also obtained diploma in Hausa language from Katsina Polytechnic\u00a0 in Nigeria. He has taught Hausa language and Hausa literature in Women Teachers College Zaria, and\u00a0 participated as an examiner in the National Examination Council (NECO), West African Examination Council, and Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), among others.
