Pardee School of Global Studies and Associate Director of the Human Capital Initiative at the School\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/\">Global Development Policy Center<\/a>\u00a0(GDP Center), will serve as an editor of its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.popcouncil.org\/research\/studies-in-family-planning\"><em>Studies in Family Planning (SFP)<\/em><\/a>\u00a0research journal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/tag\/studies-in-family-planning\/\"><em>SFP<span><\/span><\/em><\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>publishes<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/tag\/public-health\/\">public health<\/a>,<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/tag\/social-science\/\">social science<\/a>, and biomedical research with a primary focus on low- and middle-income countries.<span>\u00a0<\/span><span>The journal accepts submissions in sexual and reproductive health, fertility, family planning, HIV\/AIDS, abortion, maternal\/child health, and related topics.\u00a0<\/span><span>For almost sixty years, peer-reviewed research in the journal has played a pivotal role in shaping the field and building the evidence base for improving policy and practice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Karra is one of three new editors selected by the Population Council.
