Pardee School of Global Studies a<\/span>t Boston University, Associate Director of the <span style=\"color: #ba0000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/research\/human-capital-initiative\/\" style=\"color: #ba0000;\">Human Capital Initiative<\/a><\/span> at the BU <span style=\"color: #ba0000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/\" style=\"color: #ba0000;\">Global Development Policy Center<\/a>, <span style=\"color: #000000;\">and Director of the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/research\/human-capital-initiative\/power-program-on-womens-empowerment-research\/\" style=\"color: #ba0000;\">Program on Women&#8217;s Empowerment Research (POWER)<\/a><\/span>. I am also a Co-Editor of <em><span style=\"color: #ba0000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/journal\/17284465\" style=\"color: #ba0000;\">Studies in Family Planning<\/a><\/span>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>I will be on sabbatical as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at the <span style=\"color: #ba0000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-goettingen.de\/en\/131257.html\" style=\"color: #ba0000;\">Centre for Modern Indian Studies (CeMIS)<\/a><\/span> at the University of G\u00f6ttingen in the fall of 2024 and the spring of 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In September 2025, I will be joining the <span style=\"color: #ba0000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.publichealth.columbia.edu\/academics\/departments\/population-family-health\" style=\"color: #ba0000;\">Heilbrunn Department of Population and Family Health<\/a> <\/span>at Columbia University&#8217;s Mailman School of Public Health as an Associate Professor of Population and Family Health.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome!
