Typically, MRS\/MAS research is spread across a large conference, and this makes it difficult for us to keep up to date on new findings and meet others in the area. The intent of this conference is to bring those researchers together with a high-quality symposium to highlight the very best in the field. Previous iterations include MRS 2017 (Los Angeles, CA, USA), <a href=\"https:\/\/robotics.cs.rutgers.edu\/mrs2019\/\">MRS 2019<\/a> (New Brunswick, NJ, USA), and <a href=\"https:\/\/mrs2021.org\/\">MRS 2021<\/a> (Cambridge, UK).<\/p>\n<p>The conference scope will include any research related to multi-robot and multi-agent systems, an inherently diverse community. Several competencies are needed in this field, ranging from control systems to mechanical design, coordination, cooperation, estimation, perception, and interaction. The fields of interest include the following general fields, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modeling and Control<\/li>\n<li>Discrete Planning, Routing, Multi-Robot Path Finding, Task Assignment<\/li>\n<li>Distributed Optimization and Distributed Algorithms<\/li>\n<li>Nonlinear Control, Lyapunov Methods, Optimal Control<\/li>\n<li>Continuous Planning, Trajectory Optimization, Informative Planning<\/li>\n<li>Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, General Learning, General AI<\/li>\n<li>Distributed Perception, Vision, Mapping, SLAM<\/li>\n<li>Estimation, Filtering, Bayesian Methods, Target Tracking<\/li>\n<li>Robustness, Formal Methods, Network Resilience<\/li>\n<li>Human Multi-Robot Interaction<\/li>\n<li>Micro\/Nano Scale Systems<\/li>\n<li>Bio-Inspired Systems and Swarm Intelligence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The conference proceedings will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore\u00ae digital library (see the proceedings of the previous MRS 2021 <a href=\"https:\/\/ieeexplore.ieee.org\/xpl\/conhome\/9620207\/proceeding\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Call for Papers<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/mrs2023\/call-for-papers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">call for papers<\/a> is now closed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Final Submission Instructions<\/h2>\n<p>Authors of accepted papers can read more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/mrs2023\/call-for-papers\/final-submission-instructions\/\">final paper submission instructions here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Call for Extended Abstracts<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/mrs2023\/call-for-papers\/call-for-extended-abstracts\/\">call for extended abstracts<\/a> is now closed.
