Dr. Kuldeep Singh Accepted a Research Scientist Position in India<\/h2>\n

Dr. Singh was hired as a Research Scientist in CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, India. He is leaving Boston University on August 6, 2020. Before his departure, he\u00a0delivered an invited lecture on the topic \u201cCOVID-19: Epidemiology, effects on the cardiovascular system and possible treatments<\/b>\u201d in an International webinar on \u201cRecent Trends in Medicinal Chemistry\u201d on July 27-28, 2020 organized by Center for Basic Sciences, Pt Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur and Chemical Research Society of India, Chhattisgarh, India. We appreciate all the amazing work he has done in the Morgan Lab. We wish him all the best in his future career.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Morgan Lab, in collaboration with Dr. Tyrone Porter, is working to develop a localized drug delivery system that\u00a0releases\u00a0peptides directly into smooth muscle cells. The peptides are attached to microbubbles, which are guided through the bloodstream and burst using ultrasound waves, delivering the peptide.\u00a0Read the article here<\/a>.
