Annual Conference

Applications have closed for MELODEM’s Annual In-Person Meeting which will be held near Paris, France from Monday, July 6th through Friday, July 10th, 2026.

As in previous years, the meeting will follow a two-part format:

(1) a hands-on data workshop: involving a subset of participants from Monday, July 6th to Wednesday, July 8th

(2) the main meeting: a series of presentations with extensive discussion, from Wednesday, July 8th to Friday, July 10th.

The topic of this year’s data workshop will be announced when invitations to the meeting are issued.

If selected to attend the meeting, you are welcome to bring your partner and/or children. If so, we will request payment for their meals/accommodations well in advance of the meeting. For the benefit of all attendees, this small meeting is intended to be an immersive and collaborative experience. Thus, attendees should plan to participate in all meeting activities (i.e., the sessions and meals of the main meeting, or the sessions and meals of both the main meeting and the data workshop).

The MELODEM Leadership Team will review applications and issue invitations by no later than April 3rd, 2025. Because space is limited, the meeting cannot accommodate all who apply, unfortunately.

The meeting—lodging, meals, and venue—is supported, in part, by the NIH-NIA (R13AG064971) and the Vascular Brain Health Institute (VBHI). Fees from attendees cover the remaining costs.

Tentative Fee Schedule (subject to change)

Student or Postdoctoral fellow: $200.00 USD

Assistant Professor or equivalent: $350.00 USD

All Other Career Stages: $600.00 USD
