Foundations 2017 Graduation

Foundations 2017 GraduationThe Local Public Health Institute of Massachusetts wishes to congratulate the Foundations for Local Public Health Practice class of 2017 for a job well done. Graduates of the course have completed over 45 hours of training (3 classrooms days, 2 webinars and 17 On Your Time sessions) during the past 4 months. They have shown immense commitment and dedication to their own professional development as well as to their public health agency or organization.

25 Public Health practitioners from Massachusetts completed the course. Graduation remarks were given by Derek Fullerton, President of the Massachusetts Health Officers Association, who encouraged the students to remember why they entered Public Health to begin with, and to enjoy the job every day.

LPHI thanks its collaborators: Massachusetts Health Officers Association, Massachusetts Environmental Health Association, the Massachusetts Association of Public Health Nurses, and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, particularly the Office of Local and Regional Health. We could not run this program without their support.
