Many of us were raised to believe something we now question\u2014and sometimes find\u00a0ourselves at odds with the very institution of religion.\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5>However, it doesn&#8217;t have to be all or nothing. As a skeptical Methodist myself, I&#8217;m not here to convert anyone. Instead, I hope I can show former kids of the churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples how to connect with the things they might have actually liked about religion. Devotion, kindness, mindfulness, discipline, community engagement, and other qualities like these are prominent in world religions, but they don&#8217;t have to be limited to them.
