Once you\u2019ve selected photos and completed the order process, we\u2019ll provide you with the digital files via email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note: Only BU employees who are registered users can access the library. <\/strong>If you were previously a Cumulus user, you will automatically become a registered user of the new BU Photo Library as of May 27, 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Please exercise discretion when using images of students, faculty, or staff when the individuals are identifiable. This pertains especially to photos of students in classes and in extracurricular activities, but it also applies to identifiable images of faculty and staff.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you intend to use images of identifiable subjects for external-facing materials, please contact BU Photography at <a href=\"mailto:buphotos@bu.edu\">buphotos@bu.edu<\/a> or call MarCom at 617-353-4557. We will assist in determining if the intended use is admissible, and if you need to seek permission from the subject for the specific use.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<ul>\n<li><span>The BU Photo Library is cloud-based; no VPN connection is required.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>The recommended browsers for optimal performance are Chrome and Firefox.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Be sure to allow pop-ups on your web browser.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>BU faculty and staff have access to the BU Photo Library. External affiliates with BU <\/span>logins can request access. Students cannot receive access to the BU Photo Library.<\/li>\n<li><span>You can purchase unlimited usage across print and web for your department to use <\/span>within the University for $75.<\/li>\n<li><span>If you are a BU employee but not already a registered user, please fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/marcom\/our-expertise\/photo-video\/photo\/image-library\/\">Image Library Request<\/a> <\/span>form to request access.<\/li>\n<li><span>We have permission from the photographers to use their images within Boston <\/span><span>University materials but not materials external to the University.
