Whether or not you are working remotely: To access any of our servers, you will need to <\/span>connect to the BU Cisco VPN<\/span><\/a> to SFTP code from your local machine to your sandbox.<\/span><\/div>\n

For Projects & Plugins<\/h4>\n

From the ist-wp-app-dv01.bu.edu<\/code> host, projects can be accessed through the following root directory to reach your sandbox:<\/p>\n

var\/www\/sandboxes\/id-{firstname}\/<\/code><\/p>\n

Further into that directory, under the \/current\/wp-content\/<\/code> directory, exists two notable folders: \/plugins<\/code> and \/themes<\/code>. The Plugin directory consists of WordPress plugins, and the Themes directory: [you guessed it] WordPress themes.<\/p>\n

Development Server<\/a><\/p>\n

For Webteam<\/h4>\n

From the webdev.bu.edu<\/code> host, your project’s webdev presentation should be established through the following root directory:<\/p>\n

web\/webteam\/projects\/your-project-name<\/code><\/p>\n

For Editorial Projects<\/h4>\n

From the webdev.bu.edu<\/code> host, your publication feature should be made accessible through the following root directory:<\/p>\n

web\/bostonia<\/code>, <\/code>web\/today<\/code>, or web\/brink<\/code>, etc.<\/p>\n

Further into that root directory, [Bostonia, for instance] would be the \/bostonia\/wpassets\/articles<\/code> directory.<\/p>\n

This is where you would drop your renamed copy of r-child-starter<\/p>\n
