Quarterly Team Meetings
The Marketing Design and Photography team meets quarterly to share creative work and to review active initiatives and best practices. This is typically an in-person meeting.
Monthly MD Operations Meeting
The goal of the monthly Marketing Operations Meeting, led by the Associate Director of Marketing Design, is to create a collaborative environment where the entire Marketing Design team can align on strategic initiatives, review operational trends, troubleshoot inefficiencies, and provide a platform for team feedback. This meeting ensures that the team is synchronized and working towards shared objectives.

Marketing Design Review (bi-annual)
The Marketing Design Review, via Zoom, is a meeting with External Affairs (the larger group that MD is within) and VP Amy Hook of Marketing & Creative Services (where MD lives). It is to showcase the top-level work that MD has created. Each designer and writer team gets to succinctly present the strategy and thinking about their work directly to Steve and Amy via a consolidated PDF that the Sr. Associate Creative Director assembles from the work prepped by each designer. Steve then comments on some individual work and the extended PM group’s work as a whole. It is a good place to get in-person reaction from our most senior leadership.
Mock presentations with the team members are needed to prepare for this meeting.
CS Awards
The team enters a variety of award competitions each year. Currently, the competitions that work is entered into includes: CASE Circle of Excellence, Hatch Awards, UCDA Awards, IHAF In-House Agency Awards, CA Design, and the SPD Awards. Account Executives develop any written summaries and then reviews with the Creative Director. Copy Edit performs a high-level review of all written entries.
