- Google Folder with important templates for the PM team
Active Collab – Project Creation, Billing and Time Tracking. AC is where all of our resources track there time against projects that PMs open. The time recorded in AC is imported into the Billing System.
Resource Management – Project Management utilizes Resource Management as both a portfolio management tool by leadership to plan all forthcoming work, but is also used on a weekly basis to review resource assignments and allocations.
Billing System – Marcom’s Billing System. All billable time is imported into the Billing System from Active Collab. Estimates are also stored in the Billing System based off of Statements of Work and Estimates.
Slack – Communication and Messaging Platform. If you have not been added, contact an admin in your department to have access to the BU Web Team: buweb.slack.com
Trello – Project Pipeline and Organization Tool. Contact your supervisor to be added to the ID Projects Team. After being added, please make sure you’re on these two boards: ID Active Projects and Project Archive
Outlook – PMs use Outlook to set up internal meetings. If you are unsure of who should attend, please review the meeting structure documentation. If you are still unsure, check with your supervisor or the project ACD if unsure.
Google Drive – To keep track of documentation.
GitHub: Designers and Developers use GitHub as a repository for their code, tracking of all development tasks and as a communication tool between designers and developers.Project Managers can review GitHub issues to assess status of tasks, however, the PM does not comment or update issues within the repository.
