Equipment
Equipment & Operating System Updates
Your manager will assign you a Mac laptop, typically on a 4-year upgrade cycle. BU IS&T manages most machines for automatic security updates. If you handle your own updates and do theme development, wait to update until Responsive Framework is tested with the OS update to avoid build issues.
Want to try a new product or need a new machine?
For specific project needs, consult your Managing Associate Creative Director first.
For new apps or services for the department, check with Jon Brousseau.
If your machine is due for or needs a replacement, Jon Brousseau can forward your request to the inventory manager.
What if my equipment breaks?
Chargers and other small items can be coordinated with Jon Brousseau.
For software-related problems or equipment bugs or issues:
We typically have a dedicated IS&T contact, but at this time you’ll need to request that Jon Brousseau file a ticket with IS&T.
