Printers
Interactive Design should never use the Print Department’s printer (Phaser 7500DT) because it uses expensive ink.
AE Suite's Printer
1. Go to your computer’s Printers and Scanners settings.
2. Make sure you’re connected to the internet via Ethernet, not just wifi.
3. Add a new printer. Switch to the IP tab.
4. In the Address field, type: 128.197.227.9
5. For the Protocol field, select: HP Jetdirect – Socket (this will auto-configure as “RICOH Aficio C3501 PS” and be good to go)
6. If you get an “Installed Options” prompt, just hit ok at the bottom.
7. Click ok and confirm all additional dialogs. You may want to add a custom name for the printer as something like “AE’s Printer”
Editorial Suite's Printer
1. Go to your computer’s Printers and Scanners settings.
2. Add a new printer. Switch to the IP tab.
3. In the Address field, type: 10.242.13.78
4. The Protocol field, should auto-select to: HP Jetdirect – Socket
5. Click ok and confirm all additional dialogs. You may want to add a custom name for the printer as something like “ID’s Printer (in Editorial)”
Anita’s Suite’s Printer
1. Go to your computer’s Printers and Scanners settings.
2. Add a new printer. Switch to the IP tab.
3. In the Address field, type: 10.242.13.72
4. The Protocol field, should auto-select to: HP Jetdirect – Socket
5. Click ok and confirm all additional dialogs. You may want to add a custom name for the printer as something like “Anita’s suite’s printer”
