A team from the LIBRE project attended the gorgeous walk around the Charles River to support the great work of our friends at the BSoFNE.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/libre\/files\/2014\/09\/BOFNE-Walkathon-Vogel-resized-636x461.png\" alt=\"BOFNE Walkathon Vogel resized\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-655 aligncenter\" height=\"297\" width=\"414\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The walk raised a little over $14,000 which will be used to help send burn survivors to this years World Burn Congress in Anaheim, CA and to support the many BSoFNE burn survivor programs. The BSoFNE supports the mission of the Phoenix Society by promoting peer support to burn survivors, fundraising and special events.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re happy to report that we enjoyed good sun, good friends, and delicious food donated by Jacob Wirth, a favorite Boston restaurant.
