{"id":917,"date":"2018-04-24T12:36:17","date_gmt":"2018-04-24T16:36:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/kumarlab\/?p=917"},"modified":"2018-05-16T07:19:49","modified_gmt":"2018-05-16T11:19:49","slug":"upward-bound-math-science-program-visits-our-lab","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/kumarlab\/2018\/04\/24\/upward-bound-math-science-program-visits-our-lab\/","title":{"rendered":"Upward Bound Math Science Program visits our lab!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ubms\/\" target=\"_blank\">Upward Bound Math Science\u00a0program at Boston University<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>is a part of the federally funded TRIO programs, whose purpose is to prepare low-income and first-generation college bound students for success in higher education.<\/p>\n<p>Over 3 days in April,\u00a0\u00a05 research labs at Boston University College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/neuroimaging\/\" target=\"_blank\">Boston University\u00a0Cognitive Neuroimaging Center<\/a> came together to provide the UBMS students an exposure to cutting-edge research in biomechanics, rehabilitation, and im<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">aging.
