New publication on quadriceps strength deficits in people with ACL reconstruction when compared to matched controls
Our latest publication is a systematic review and meta-analysis which showed that when compared to age, sex, and activity matched controls, limbs with ACL reconstruction show persistent quadriceps weakness up to 4-years after surgery. Read more here!

We are excited to announce that all patient-facing researchers in our group have been fully vaccinated! However, we continue to follow the same rigorous safety protocols as before including use of PPE, sanitization, de-densification, daily symptom monitoring, etc.

Nirali Shah, MPT is a 3rd year doctoral student in the Rehabilitation Sciences program. Nirali has been named Sargent College's Elizabeth Whitney Post Scholar for the current Academic year! This longstanding Sargent fund is devoted to the study of pain prevention and treatment, focusing on interventions that obviate the potential abuse of alcohol and prescription drugs. Congratulation to our postdoctoral researcher, Dr. Kerry Costello for receiving an NIH NRSA Individual Postdoctoral F32 Fellowship award! Dr. Costello will use machine learning approaches to investigate the associations of gait and physical activity with development and worsening of knee osteoarthritis using a large epidemiological cohort.
