We believe that the most impactful research is driven by thoughtful collaborations of clinical expertise in the clinic, cutting edge laboratory research, and advice from those who understand the lived experience of breast cancer. Crucially, we focus on the health inequities faced by women of color, and particularly Black women, who face disproportionally worse outcomes from breast cancer treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">We see a need and opportunity to ensure that we make a bridge between the research and the community. In other words, ensuring that the science and those who stand to benefit the most from it are connected.
