GVS FOUNDATION
Gun Violence Survivors Foundation supports survivors and their families through the emotional and physical aftermath of a crime involving a firearm in America. Our Foundation eases the financial impact placed upon them as a result of this crime. The GVS Foundation exists to aid survivors and their families by providing resources and services, and to assist in the funding required to promote mental and emotional healing.

LOUIS D BROWN PEACE INSTITUTE
The Louis D. Brown Peace Institute is a center of healing, teaching, and learning for families and communities impacted by murder, trauma, grief, and loss.
Vision: To create and sustain an environment where all families can live in peace and all people are valued.
Belief: All families impacted by murder deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion, regardless of the circumstances.
Model: programs and services are grounded in the Center for Disease Control’s social-ecological framework that interventions are needed at multiple levels in order to interrupt cycles of violence. The heart of our work is with families impacted by murder on both sides. Our impact extends to community and society through tools, training, and technical assistance.
