The overall research goal of the Jones Laboratory is to understand how cancer evades immune surveillance and persists in metastatic organs. Specifically, our laboratory studies the metastatic tumor microenvironment and how its dysregulation contributes to cancer progression. We seek to identify and inhibit tumor-stroma pathways that fuel metastatic growth.
