Jill Beckman – Presenter and Project Founder
Jill is the Director over the Service Desk and Desktop Services within Boston University’s centralized support center.  Her service desk team consists of 19 staff, and supports over 200 IT services.  Her desktop support team consists of 40 staff, and supports over 90 departments and schools within BU.  They are responsible for many University shared services, such as the desktop asset management system. Jill also serves as the Request Fulfillment Process Owner for BU.

 

Mark KimionakisMark Kimionakis – Co-presenter
Mark is the Assistant Director for the Desktop Services team within BU’s IT Help Center. His team consists of 40 staff, and supports over 90 departments and schools within BU.  Desktop Services is also responsible for many University shared services, such as the desktop asset management system, the endpoint device security system, imaging, and virtual desktops.  Mark also acts as the service owner for multiple service components in BU’s IT service catalog.

Phillip is a Lead Client Support Specialist within Boston University’s IT Help Center. As a leader within the Service Desk, Phillip oversees operations of technology services offered to the BU community. Beyond his support work, Phillip is passionate about implementing and improving processes that facilitate world-class client service. In 2012, Phillip was awarded the HDI Support Center Analyst of the Year Award by the HDI New England local chapter.
