Public Engagement Projects

Inclusive Astronomy is committed to promote Astronomy education, share knowledge, and inspire the next generation to pursue a career in STEM.

IA has enabled projects including:

• Science Train
  • Talking about science to a general audience on their commute, in the MBTA (Boston Public Transportation).
  • Monthly occurrence since Spring 2023

•  Astro365
  • Provide opportunities in Astronomy to high school students in low-income diverse communities
  • Semesterly visits to high schools and interactive demonstration nights at BU

  • “Applying to Graduate School” Panel targeted at BU undergraduates, in collaboration with the BU Astronomy Society
