The first page, written in 1671 by Constans Southward, lists Native people under the rule of Awashanoke, who signed this document to declare loyalty to the English. The second, by Prenyc, expresses how the English are glad Awashanoke has submitted but wishes more of her people would do the same.

Squaw Sachem of Saconett, who hereue and hiereeby do ingage
Their fidellity to the English of his native Coloney of new –
Plimoth and theire subjection to his native authority
