Mission Statement:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our research focuses on understanding how lung epithelial progenitors interact with their supportive niche in the contexts of pulmonary disease and repair. We use cell culture, mouse models, and cell engraftment to study and augment these interactions with the ultimate goal of establishing novel therapies for pulmonary disease.<\/p>\n

In addition, it is our mission to foster a welcoming and supportive environment, both within our lab and the wider research community, in order to train the next generation of scientists. We strongly believe that a diverse and collaborative community is an essential foundation for exploring the world around us and developing effective treatments for patients.<\/p>\n
