Ashlin Kelly

Northeastern University Undergraduate

Ashlin Kelly is an undergraduate student at Northeastern University, majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Art. She aspires to become a physician and medical illustrator, driven by her passion for integrating science and art. This interest was sparked during her high school years at Grand Canyon University’s cadaver lab, where she volunteered as a dissector and illustrator, creating anatomy workbooks for students.

Under the mentorship of Dr. Jonathan Wisco, Ashlin has been able to further her passion by dissecting in AUSMEF’s 2023 and 2024 Fellowships and is currently developing an illustrated dissector’s manual for the BU Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys teaching ESOL at Rosie’s Place and volunteering in Child Life at BMC. Originally from Arizona and the daughter of Mexican and Irish immigrants, Ashlin is dedicated to reducing healthcare barriers often faced by immigrants in the United States, such as language and accessibility.
