Participants must be registered for the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What exactly will I do at the hackathon?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meeting via Zoom, you will work in groups to answer a question related to public health and health equity by conducting a data analysis using R Programming Language (RStudio). Groups will select one question from several provided. Participants will be provided with a data set and codebook and will work in teams (with support from a mentor) to review the data, identify relevant variables, conduct statistical analysis, and interpret key results. Each team will prepare 1-2 slides to present their results at the end of the event. A prize will be awarded to one group based on the work accomplished during the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do I need to prepare for the event?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We ask that you download R and RStudio prior to the event.
