BUSSW Prof. Christina Lee gave a featured talk at the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s annual event, “State of the Art Course in Addiction Medicine.” The talk, covering addiction treatment and intervention programs for underserved communities, was titled “Screening and Intervening on Structural Determinants of Health for Minoritized Individuals in Addiction Medicine.” Prof. Lee has done extensive research on the connection between social and environmental stressors and the prevalence of risky behaviors in marginalized communities.
