The event had a space theme and focused on expressing creativity through both art and science. During the hackathon, participants designed, constructed, and programmed smart robots. This event was open to all majors and was beginner-friendly.

KTP x HackHardware x BUILDS Hack Innovat3

In collaboration with Kappa Theta Pi’s Lambda Chapter and BUILDS, HackHardware organized a thrilling two-day hackathon from March 29 to March 30, 2024. Kappa Theta Pi’s Lambda Chapter is a professional technology fraternity at BU, and BUILDS is an inclusive community for artists, hackers, and students interested in building different ideas and systems. This event was an unforgettable experience, filled with innovation, teamwork, and skill-building. It was also beginner-friendly, featuring two software tracks and a hardware track.

HackHardware TinyML Workshop

On February 23, 2024, HackHardware hosted a TinyML workshop in the BUILDS space for its club members. Participants used Arduino hardware to explore the applications of machine learning and AI. Specifically, they were tasked with creating a real-time gesture recognition system using TensorFlow Lite Micro on the Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense Board, complete with custom-trained models for accurate results. This hands-on event provided an exciting opportunity for students to learn about AI and ML.

HackHardware Fall 2023 Hackathon

HackHardware 2023 was a three-day long hackathon meant to bring BU students from across all majors together to create, innovate, and have a bunch of fun.
