Welcome to H4H’s Journal Club! Journal Club is our very own community of like minded individuals who wish to improve their scientific literacy and learn more about public health research. We welcome students to lead their own discussions and presentations on public health topics as well as write and publish their own health articles on our website. Some of the main themes we discuss are the cycle of homelessness within society and health accessibility for the homeless.<\/p>\n

Homelessness is a large, complex issue. Those experiencing homeless persevere through numerous challenges on a physical, interpersonal, and structural level.<\/p>\n

  4. Menstruation and homelessness: Challenges faced living in shelters and on the street in New York City<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. Engaging unhoused community members in the design of an alternative first responder program aimed at reducing the criminalization of homelessness<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
