Dr. Kimberly Sullivan\u00a0<\/strong>is the\u00a0Gulf War Illness consortium Principal Investigator (PI) and a site co-PI for the Boston research site.\u00a0Dr. Sullivan is a Research Assistant Professor at the Boston University School of Public Health department of Environmental Health and the former Associate Scientific Director for the Congressionally directed Research Advisory Committee (RAC) on Gulf War Veterans Illnesses.<\/p>\n

\"Tricia\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dr. Patricia Janulewicz-Lloyd<\/b> is an Assistant Professor at the Boston University School of Public Health in the Environmental Health Department and a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Boston in the Psychology Department. She serves as the GWIC \u00a0study coordinator and a co-investigator.<\/p>\n

Dr. Maxine Krengel<\/b> is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Boston University School of Medicine Department of Neurology. She is a co-investigator for the Boston site main study.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ronald Killiany<\/b> is an Associate Professor of Anatomy and Neurobiology at the Boston University School of Medicine. He is a co-investigator for the Boston site main study as well as\u00a0\u00a0the PI on the PET imaging pilot studies.<\/p>\n

Dr. Rosemary Toomey<\/b> is a Research Associate professor in the psychology department at Boston University where she is the Director of Neuropsychological Assessment at the Psychological Services Center. She is a co-investigator for the Boston site.<\/p>\n

\"Christine-Chaisson1\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Christine Chaisson\u00a0<\/b>is the Director of the Data Coordinating Center (DCC) and has served as Project Manager on a variety of studies. She oversees the design,\u00a0construction and software selection of all data systems to be maintained by the DCC.<\/p>\n

Dr. Bang-Bon Koo<\/b>\u00a0works with Dr. Killiany on the image ascertainment and post-processing of all neuroimaging data for the consortium. He is a post-doctoral associate for the Boston site.<\/p>\n

Joy Ajama<\/strong>\u00a0is a\u00a0Master of Public Health candidate at Boston University School of Public Health. She\u00a0received her Bachelors of Science in\u00a0Biology\u00a0from University of Massachusetts in Lowell. She is the consortia’s research Assistant.<\/p>\n

Dr. Timothy Heeren<\/b> is Professor of Biostatistics at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Boston University School of Public Health. Dr. Heeren serves as the Consortium Biostatistician.<\/p>\n

Dr. Nancy Klimas<\/b> is currently Professor and Chair at the Department of Clinical Immunology at Nova Southeastern University, Professor Emeritus at the University of Miami\u2019s Miller School of Medicine and the Miami VA Medical Center.\u00a0She serves as immunology expert, Laboratory Core Director and Research Site PI on the GWI consortium.<\/p>\n

\"LeaSteele_Headshot2\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Dr. Lea Steele<\/b> is past Scientific Director of the Research Advisory Committee on Gulf War Veterans Illnesses, and Research Professor at Baylor University.\u00a0She serves as an epidemiology expert on the GWIC study as well as PI for the Texas site.<\/p>\n

Adelaide, Australia:\"mark_hutchinson_web\"<\/a><\/h1>\n

Dr. Janet Coller and Dr. Mark Hutchinson<\/b> are specialist pharmacologists, whose respective fields are pharmacogenetics and neuroimmunopharmacology at the University of Adelaide, Australia. Dr. Hutchinson is an Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide. \u00a0Drs. Coller and Hutchinson serve as immunogenetic specialists and research site Co-PIs.<\/p>\n

Dr. John Forsayeth and Dr. John Gerdes<\/b>\u2013 are both neuroscientists who are co-founders of RIO Pharmaceuticals and will be involved in using newly developed PET imaging radiotracers to image neuroinflammatory biomarkers in GWI.<\/p>\n
