Nonclinical Studies Unit (NSU)

We investigate viral pathogenesis, evolution, gene expression, model development, transmission and persistence.  Our Nonclinical Studies Unit supports the advanced development of vaccines and therapeutics via the FDA Animal Rule.  We welcome collaboration with academic, government, NGO, biotechnology and pharmaceutical partners to support global health mitigation efforts and research on emerging infectious diseases.
