- September 2025: Chang Xiao joined as new faculty!
- September 2025: Ruichen Liu joined as a new PhD student!
- August 2025: We presented the journal paper Faraday Cage Estimation of Normals for Point Clouds and Ribbon Sketches at SIGGRAPH 2025 which was awarded an Honorable Mention for Best Paper Award.
- August 2025: We presented the conference paper Curl Quantization for Automatic Placement of Knit Singularities at SIGGRAPH 2025.
- July 2025: Zezhou Sun’s PhD defense. Congratulations Dr. Sun!
- June 2025: Emily Whiting received an unrestricted academic gift from Reality Labs Research, a division of Meta.
- June 2025: Edward Chien gave an SGP25 Summer School talk on computational knitting, along with Ben Jones (MIT) and Jenny Lin (Utah).
- March 2025: Xingjian Han’s PhD defense. Congratulations Dr. Han!
