Student Researchers

The Global Nutrition Lab includes undergraduate and graduate students participating in ongoing research. Students in the lab have participated in research as volunteers or have received academic credit (senior practicum or directed/independent study) or stipends for their work. The availability of academic credit or funding depends on the needs and resources of the lab at the time of joining. Undergraduates are encouraged to pursue UROP-funding for their work. The research lab is currently at full capacity for 2021 summer and fall semesters.

Join Us

Undergraduates must take SAR HS346: Global Health Nutrition before joining the lab (no exceptions). After taking HS346, undergraduates should complete the application form here: https://forms.gle/Y4QxUAkfa2rA8RV28

For graduate students and post-docs: The lab has a range of opportunities for graduate students and post-docs with nutrition, epidemiology, biostatistics, or global health backgrounds. Email Professor Locks (lmlocks@bu.edu) with your CV to express your interest.
