Connswater is a community-<br \/>\nbased social housing provider, with over 1200 properties throughout Northern<br \/>\nIreland.<br \/>\nThroughout her career she has shown a keen interest in neighbourhood renewal and<br \/>\ncommunity development. Bridgeen completed the Striving Towards A Restorative<br \/>\nSociety\u2019 (STARS) programme in 2021. Connswater is the first housing Association<br \/>\nin Northern Ireland to have all staff trained in the principles of restorative practice,<br \/>\nand the Association continues to embed these principles through all areas of<br \/>\noperations.<br \/>\nSocial housing properties are generally in areas of higher levels of deprivation<br \/>\nand social needs. Homes are allocated to households that require secure<br \/>\naffordable housing. Sustaining tenancies is a key objective, which contributes to<br \/>\ncreating thriving communities.<br \/>\nThe Association works with stakeholders to navigate the complexities of<br \/>\ncommunities within Northern Ireland and works towards the Department of<br \/>\nCommunities and Northern Ireland Housing Executives \u2018Housing for All\u2019 Shared<br \/>\nHousing Programme.
