Natasha Patel

Natasha Patel (she/her/hers) joined the Department of Computer Science as the Manager of Communications and Outreach in the summer of 2023. She is the point person for communications, marketing, and diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives and works closely with her colleagues to support programming across the department.

Natasha came to Computer Science after serving as Program Administrator of the BU African Studies Center for five years. At the ASC, she managed the day-to-day operations, communications, and events of the Center, and supported the administration of the African Language Program, grants, publications and K-12 outreach activities. Prior to that, she worked at the BU College of Engineering’s Office of Outreach and Diversity, where she supported the college’s K-12 DEI initiatives. Natasha earned her B.A. in International Relations from Boston University in 2017, and has lived in the U.S., Singapore, Malaysia and Switzerland.

Outside of the office, Natasha enjoys dancing, traveling and exploring new parts of Boston with her friends.
