Following her doctoral studies, she worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Geography, Leicester University, UK, where she conducted a comparative research project on Gendered Geographies of Gentrification, in Istanbul and Amsterdam, exploring the intersection of gender, gentrification, and urban spaces, funded by a H2020 Marie Curie Individual Research Fellowship. Her commitment to interdisciplinary studies has led her to develop a diverse set of research interests, including gentrification, displacement, housing, feminist urban studies, social reproduction, and comparative urbanism.
