Maya Batheja

Maya Batheja is currently a junior majoring in Education & Human Development with a Specialization in STEM Teaching and Learning at Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education. She is passionate about educational equity and the experiences of students of color in classrooms. Outside of the lab, Maya has volunteered with 826 Boston, and worked as a student intern at Fenway High School. In the future, she plans on teaching high school science and obtaining a masters degree in teaching.  

Maya is originally from Sleepy Hollow, New York. During her free time, Maya enjoys baking, singing, and watching reality TV.
