Janet Gu

Janet Gu is a doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology & Applied Human Development program at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. Her research interests focus on the development of ethnic-racial identity and critical consciousness in immigrant-origin youth of color.

Drawing from her prior clinical experience as a case manager for marginalized youth, Janet aims to integrate culturally sensitive, strength-based practices into classroom settings with diverse students.
