Dr. Howard’s Team

Dr. Kimberly A. S. Howard is a professor of counseling psychology & applied human development at BU Wheelock College of Education & Human Development and the Co-Director of the Wheelock Center for Future Readiness.

Dr. Howard’s work centers on the career development process of children and youth, particularly as it is shaped by social class, gender, and race/ethnicity. She is also interested in STEM learning and career development, particularly for Latinx youth.

She is an engaged faculty member in the BU community as part of the Living Our Values Initiative, as well as a Fellow of the Society of Counseling Psychology of the American Psychological Association, and a member of the APA Coalition for Psychology in Schools and Education.
