Principal Investigator
Valeri Frumkin
I am Assistant Professor at Boston University, interested in all aspects of interfacial phenomena and physics of fluids, with applications to microfluidics, optics, additive manufacturing, and in-space manufacturing. I am also interested in the field of Hydrodynamic Quantum Analogs, which explores fluid-mechanical systems that exhibit quantum-like behavior.
I’ve received my B.Sc in Physics and Mathematics and my M.Sc and Ph.D in Applied Mathematics from the Physics and Mathematics Faculties at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, respectively. I then made a transition for theoretical to experimental research during a postdoct at the Fluidic Technologies Laboratory at Technion, followed by a three-year postdoc at the Mathematics Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
