{"id":66,"date":"2016-11-14T09:37:12","date_gmt":"2016-11-14T14:37:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/fichotlab\/?page_id=66"},"modified":"2021-01-04T14:29:52","modified_gmt":"2021-01-04T19:29:52","slug":"outreach","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/fichotlab\/outreach\/","title":{"rendered":"Outreach"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr \/>\n<p>The Fichot Lab is committed to training current and future generations in new and emerging technologies related to our research.\u00a0 Through our outreach, we encourage students to &#8220;get their feet wet&#8221;&#8230;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>&#8230;through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ubms\/\">Upward Bound Math Science (UBMS) at BU<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">In this program through Boston University, we are able to give local high school students hands-on experience in water sampling and laboratory analyses.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>&#8230;through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buacademy.org\/\">Boston University Academy high school<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">With this program, we are able to give Boston University Academy high school students hands-on experience in water sampling and laboratory analyses.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>&#8230;through the <a href=\"https:\/\/develop.larc.nasa.gov\/nodes\/MA.html\">Massachusetts Node of NASA&#8217;s DEVELOP program<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Dr. Fichot is lead science advisor for the Massachusetts Note of NASA&#8217;s DEVELOP program.
