New research study about planning for adulthood!

Boston University is developing a new program to help culturally-diverse families of individuals on the autism spectrum plan for the future. We are looking for families and service providers to share (1) their perspectives about preparing for adulthood and (2) their feedback about a new transition planning program.

  • Who?
    • Parents or caregivers of adolescents or young adults (ages 14-21) on the autism spectrum
    • Teens or young adults (ages 14-21) who have been diagnosed with autism and/or who identify as autistic
    • Service providers with experience in autism
  • What?
    • One appointment in which you share your perspectives and complete a brief background form
  • How long?
    • 1 to 2 hours
  • In which language?
    • English, Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese
  • When?
    • At a day/time convenient for you
  • Where?
    • Via telephone or computer (i.e., “Zoom”) or in-person
  • Cost?
    • There is no cost
    • Participants will receive $50 for their time
