These tools will help us better understand how global pressures\u2014such as climate change and sea-level rise\u2014are impacting sensitive coastal ecosystems over time.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1470\" data-end=\"1808\">Recognizing the critical role of human influence, I am collaborating with social scientists and economists to explore how communities interact with coastal environments before and after major disturbances.
