Shamiya Ford
Shamiya is interested in twentieth century and contemporary Black Diasporic literature. Her research focuses on the interconnectedness of global Black liberation movements. She is especially interested in how Black writers from across the diaspora employ and reinvent gothic themes and tropes to express the complexities of Black affective experiences during and after the emergence of these movements.
