Hania Bujnowska
Hania Bujnowska is a second-year biochemistry PhD student in the Elliott Lab. She recieved her B.S. in chemistry with a focus in biochemistry from the University of Arkansas. Hania was part of the 2023 REU at Boston Univeristy, working in the Elliott lab on the characterization of some of the 13 putative ferredoxins found in the methanogenic archaea Methanosarcina acetivorans. Her current focus is studying the redox chemistry of two of the ferredoxins found in the acetogen Eubacterium limosum and other such organisms. In her free time she enjoys bird watching with her cat Trixie, running, and exploring the city of Boston.
