Colette Abadie
Colette Abadie a second-year PhD student in experimental condensed matter physics. Abadie’s research focuses on soft X-ray spectroscopic analysis of functional materials—using techniques like XPS, UPS, REELS, and more—to observe material characteristics such as electronic structure, surface and interfacial chemistry, and stability under operating conditions. Prior to her doctoral work, she completed a bachelor’s degree at the University of Vermont with a research focus on organic-inorganic lead halide perovskite solar cells.
