Self-Cleaning Electrodynamic Screen (EDS) Film Lab
The Applied Electromagnetics Lab at Boston University has been working on the Electrodynamic Screen (EDS) film technology for several years. Our research and work focuses on the mitigation of energy-yield loss due to soiling on solar collectors by introducing the EDS film.
Self-Cleaning technology proposed by the EDS film requires a multidisciplinary approach to problem solving. We are a diverse team with engineers from many disciplines: electrical, computer, mechanical, and materials.
At this stage, we have developed several generations of prototypes and currently working on field testing and product optimization. We look forward to collaborating with people in the solar and sustainable industries. Check out our research page and contact us for further information.
