Fuentes is the Program Coordinator for the Institute for Early Childhood Well-Being and the Nuestros Ni\u00f1os program. She completed her Master&#8217;s in Educational Policy Studies at the Wheelock College of Education and Human Development at Boston University. She completed a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (K-12) at the University of Puerto Rico &#8211; Rio Piedras Campus. Jelonid Fuentes has worked with the UNESCO Chair for Peace Education at the University of Puerto Rico, has worked as an Associate Teacher at Bright Horizons, and has worked with non-profit Parceleras Afrocaribe\u00f1as in an audiovisual project for La Conde.
