Teresa Gillespie is a native of Denver, Colorado. She works as a Bilingual Spanish\/English-speaking Speech-Language Pathologist with a centralized and multidisciplinary special education team that is part of a local public school district. She is beginning her 23rd year in the position. Teresa Gillespie has a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, a non-medical Degree program, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology\/Audiology and Spanish from the University of Denver. She earned an Advanced Certificate in Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her passions are assessment, research, continuing education, and working with native Spanish-speaking students and their families.
