Now Accepting Faculty Research Proposals for Fall\u00a02021<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re seeking faculty\u00a0interested in partnering\u00a0with community members\u00a0to advance research\u00a0in\u00a0the field of early childhood well-being.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BU\u2019s\u00a0Institute for Early Childhood Well-Being\u00a0is dedicated\u00a0to promoting holistic, nurturing ecosystems integrated across disciplinary boundaries to maximize the well-being and resilience of young children and families.\u00a0The Institute\u00a0is\u00a0interested in pioneering new approaches in the field and is seeking community focused projects.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Is this an interest of yours?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Your proposal must (1)\u00a0address one of the priority areas\u00a0of the\u00a0Institute for Early Childhood Well-Being, (2)\u00a0involve interdisciplinary collaboration, and (3)\u00a0include at least two investigators from different disciplines or schools\/colleges and one non-BU community partner.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a part of the application process, you will be required to submit a\u00a03-page research proposal that\u00a0lists\u00a0a complete research team of faculty\u00a0and community partner(s), and a direct, meaningful connection to\u00a0early childhood\u00a0well-being<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Funding<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Funds will be awarded to as many as four projects, with awards\u00a0up\u00a0to $15,000.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Assemble your research team and submit a three-page research proposal to\u00a0ecinstitute@bu.edu\u00a0by 11:59 pm on\u00a0Wednesday, November 17, 2021.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
